Career Change Dogs

Occasionally Paws For Life USA must decide that a dog in not suitable to become or continue to be a service dog, because of a health or temperament issue.

Paws For Life USA does not ship any of their dogs. Those interested in adoption must come to our school in Marietta, Georgia to visit with a possible dog in person.

Carer Change Process

  1. Paws For Life USA reviews all adoption applications on file
  2. Potential adopters and dogs are introduced at our school to determine match
  3. All released dogs are spayed or neutered and vaccinations are up to date
  4. Adoption fee ranges $500- $2500 depending on the dog’s age and training history
  5. Though the dog may no longer be a service dog, they make wonderful companions

Please note: Career changed dogs cannot be used or listed as a working service dog under any circumstances
