Testimonials

Hi Mrs. Kim. I thank you so much for checking on me. You have no Idea how appreciative I am to have met you and your husband those years ago. I know my life will come back together again soon when my New Service Dog buddy gets here. But I have been working hard to not loose any progress Rudyard Kipling got me to. When everything happened I made sure they knew I wanted you to have this business. They had a list to choose from, but I already knew I was going back home to Mrs. K. Brenowitz!!! Paws4Life USA

As long as I live, your company and organization will always have my business for life, and I've also given your information to several people and Veterans throughout these last years. There are some other veterans that have inquired in the past, I give everyone your information. You do an Amazing job with the Service Dogs. It's amazing you can teach them anything. Carrying, open the door, find keys when they have been misplaced due to my Short term memory loss problem. He would also remind me when I needed to take my meds and everything. He knew when something was wrong with my diabetes, and I'm not sure if you even taught him that, but he did. He would alert me before it would spike majority of the time. I knew it was time to take my shot, or my metformin. When I would be in pain sometimes alone, and not wanting my wife to know because I didn't want to go to the hospital; Rudyard wasn't having that he went and got her brought her back in the room and laid his head on my stomach right where pancreatitis pain was at... It's a blessing he did, because it was a really bad flare up, and my glucose was in the 600's... I just want you know if you don't hear it enough from all of us being your kids, I Love You, we all Love You even if you don't hear it enough!!! Your work has saved my life so many times, even when fighting Suicide. Since I've had My Service Dog he would take me outside or want to go for a ride to the Convenience Store or Walmart. He would always do something to bring my mind back in, and that would go away. Before I had Rudyard that was something I struggled with everyday. I couldn't leave my room, I couldn't be in public, I was trapped. This is just a few testimonials of what you have done for me and my family!!!đŸ™đŸŸđŸ•â€đŸŠș💙

Harleigh and Scott

I met Kimberly almost seven years ago.  I wanted to train our Goldendoodle puppy to become a Therapy Dog.  Our breeder recommended Kimberly at Paws For Life USA.  We started our journey when Harleigh Belle was just twelve weeks old.  We were in a class with future Service Dogs.  I quickly became mesmerized with the training process.
I looked forward to every Saturday session and just wanted to learn more and more. I shared my experiences from class with anyone who would listen.  Kimberly not only guided our training, but we discussed our dog’s body language, health issues, first aid and no question went unanswered. She made us feel comfortable, and gave us the support to become a successful team.

My husband has a brain tumor and suffered a major stroke during his second surgery in 2016.  The stroke affected his left side, leaving him with balance issues and he’s unable to hold or grasp things with his left hand. We noticed that our dog was beginning to sense when my husband was tired or needed assistance. She was becoming his support and really watched over him.  Kimberly suggested that Harleigh Belle could become his Service Dog if we were willing to continue training.  This was such a life changing decision!  My husband has been in a Clinical Trial at Duke Cancer Center for the past three years and we travel there every 28 days.  His Service Dog is with him every step of the way.
We can never thank Kimberly enough for all she has done.  She is a friend, that I can call anytime. She and Larry are always there to help. Paws For LifeUSA is a family and we are blessed to be part of it!

"I have been a part of the Paws For Life USA family for about three years now. I have learned so much about the power that dogs have to change our lives. It’s just amazing what proper guidance and patience can help you and your dog achieve. The bond becomes so strong. Kimberly is a first class trainer and a very special lady. She gives 110% to us all. I can’t thank her enough. My goldendoodle is a certified therapy dog and is working on her final certification as a service dog. She instinctively began helping my husband and keeping a watchful eye on him. He had a stroke about five years ago during brain surgery. He lost the use of his left arm and walks with a limp. With Kimberly’s help, our girl has become an even more valuable and loving assistant. I am forever grateful to Kimberly and the whole Paws For Life USA family!" Harleigh522

“Paws For Life USA helped me get the boy I desperately needed for my disability. I don’t know what I would do without him.” S.16

"My girl & I have been part of ADB/PRLUSA for 1.5 years. We achieved our status as an official pet therapy team
earlier this year and have been visiting various locations. While this was a huge milestone in our journey, we have
continued working with Kimberly & attending weekly school. This challenges us for ongoing learning & growing
which has been key in our consistent improvement.
One of my favorite stories is about training our dogs to smoke alarms and how to get us out of a building. We first
trained for this in summer 2020. In the spring of 2021, my smoke alarms went off at home when there was a
problem with the oven. The whole house (3 levels) is tied together so 10 smoke alarms were sounding at once. My
girl has a doggie door to exit into the backyard and I was certain she had gone outside. I was very surprised to feel
her nose on my leg and looked down to see her staring up at me with a 'let's go' look. She would not leave the
house without me. The training was hardwired."

"Kimberly Brenowitz of Paws for Life USA is beyond dedicated to helping the lives of people with disabilities
with the use of task based service dogs. Her understanding of both the human needs and her ability to work with the
dogs is amazing. In my experience thru the years of classes i was a part of she has trained dogs to do amazing
things for their handlers. In my training with my dog alone i saw her work with all kinds of disabilities- people who
were paralyzed, people with MS, Autism, PTSD to name just a few. She works with both handler and dog to build a
strong bond and her dedication doesn't leave after the dog is trained. Truly a special and unique organization."

"I first learned of PFLUSA & met Kimberly when I wanted to find a dog for pet therapy. It was my desire to find and
rescue a dog that had great potential to be a therapy dog. Kimberly & I worked together and ultimately I adopted a
terrific dog that had been in a shelter twice. Kimberly's expertise to test & identify a dog with the right potential was
key.Unfortunately, the dog had been traumatized in the past by a dog or dogs so Kimberly taught me how to
desenitize her fear of other dogs.We have been together for 4 months and are still in the training process but are
well on our way to achieving our certification as a therapy team. I am grateful for the training & expertise and highy
recommend."
